About me

Hi, I’m Laura!

I am Laura,

joyful, light and complete. A daughter, a sister, a friend, a fellow spiritual traveler, a wanderer through life. A certified yoga teacher, an Ayurveda student and devoted practitioner. I hold profound reverence for this life, gifted to me to be lived authentically, guided by the whispers of my Own Heart. And it has been a long and winding journey to arrive here.

Early Days.....

Even as a child, a quiet knowing echoed within me: "There is more to life than meets the eye…" But what was this "more"? Born in Romania during the shadow of communism, "fear" was my constant companion, behaved  as the inability to say "no" and stand for what I was. Anxiety, like a chilling frost, would seize my body and mind, stealing my freedom, forcing me to obey external rules. For many years it turned into a very subtle depression, unable to participate in the presence of the moment, always waiting for the "next" and hoping for the best. I felt disconnected from my own inner world, unaware of its very existence, never knowing the wellspring of joy that lay hidden within.

As a young adult, I began to question these fears and needs: were they truly mine, born of this lifetime, or echoes of a distant past? My outer life appeared flawless, yet within, a vast ocean of unacknowledged depths awaited exploration.

One day, I found the courage to begin the work. I took a leap of faith, embracing the unknown, investing all my time, energy, and curiosity in discovering a life lived in peace, balance, and harmony, guided not by external circumstances, but by the tender and gentle  compass of my OWN heart.

The Practice...

Since 2016, I have traversed diverse paths, guided by remarkable teachers and gurus.

From personal psychological sessions to heal and bring back the wounded little girl, who standed in front of the door, too scared, waiting to be seen and listened to attentively,  TO the profound stillness of jnana yoga (self-inquiry/ atma-vichāris) under the grace of the spiritual teacher Mooji Baba, where the "dark night of the soul" found its first completion.

From the exquisite beauty of raja yoga with the amazing asana and pranayama practice TO the ecstatic devotion of bhakti yoga, chanting and dancing in communion with the Divine. Always, I was surrounded and guided by the light of many healers, friends, and high spirits.

A Deeper Understanding...

The study and practice of raja yoga unveiled the wisdom of ancient spiritual treasures, answering my soul's yearning questions. Aligning with Ayurveda, the 5,000-year-old science of Indian holistic health, a deep and unexpected love blossomed within me. Uncontrolled, unseen, unintentionally. Consistent sadhana became my way of life, weaving yoga and Ayurveda into the fabric of my days. A stable mind, clear vision, unwavering will, and gentle heart emerged, alongside a profound inner connection.

The present moments...

Discovering ONE's heart does not shield us from suffering or any external storms. Clouds will move, the sun will set, bones will break, and hearts will ache, as long as we have a human body. Yet, we can choose how we befriend ourselves in these moments, how close we stay to our own heart, how we speak to ourselves, how we hold ourselves. Consistent practice, mindful nourishment, conscious and positive thoughts, compassionate and elevated companionship, and purposeful actions – all are meant to play the dance of harmony, but only when ONE understands the Divine rhythm.

Still the greatest treasure of them all, is the unshakable faith One has....

By the Grace of God...

Fear has become a loyal friend. It always appears when I am called to deeper understanding. Either it wants me safe and secure in very reasonable moments, or it wants to reveal the treasure and wonder hidden behind the veil of the unknown.

It beckons me to find the courage to take the next step ahead, if I would only dare ...

And finally, who am "I"....

a spark of Divine light, walking on this earth to serve a higher purpose, always in Company, always seen, always heard, always safe, always amazed by It's Wonder.

The Ordainer controls the fate of souls in accordance with their prarabdhakarma. Whatever is destined not to happen will not happen, try as you may. Whatever is destined to happen will happen, do what you may to prevent it.

This is certain. The best course, therefore, is to remain silent.
